Honestly, I enthusiastically recommend Laura to everyone I know. Laura is the perfect package in a wedding photographer; she has a natural, gorgeous style and is an expert user of natural light. She's incredibly organized and very professional, all while being easy-going and fun. Laura seamlessly moved us through the day and ensured everyone was prepared and everything stayed on schedule. I was able to really settle into enjoying the day instead of stressing over tasks and timelines.

In my mind, our wedding photos are the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen in my life. I'm obivously biased, but these pics are better than what I imagined. We loved Laura (and Donny!) from the moment we met her! One of the most important things for us was that - since the photographer would be the vendor we would spend the most time with on the actual day of our wedding - that it be someone who made us feel comfortable, made us laugh and made us feel like ourselves. Laura was that and more - she treated us like friends, got to know us and our story, and treated us throughout the process with so much warmth. All this is on top of the fact that her photos are absolutely gorgeous! She totally captured all of our emotion, in both the engagement shoot and the wedding day, and she was professional and timely throughout the process. Once I got engaged, one of the first things I wanted to make sure I had was a photographer that would be able to capture my special day in a way that would provide me with photos that were timeless and most importantly captured me and my now husband in our element. When searching for a photographer, I was starting at scratch and looking at blogs trying to find one that I connected with. Ideally, a wife and husband combo was what I was hoping for and lucky for me I came across Laura's blog on my second page of google searching! I loved the feel of her work and how she was able to capture moments in a true and "real" way. After having a conversation with Laura and Donny, my husband and I knew they were the ones for us. Little did we know, we would be considering them family as they have captured so many important aspects of our life together.

To this day, almost 4 years later, I still scroll through my engagement and wedding pictures and am able to relive those amazing days. I consider myself lucky to have found someone who I easily connected with (who couldn't with her sense of humor and little extras to make taking photos of yourself fun and enjoyable!) and not only have had my engagement and wedding captured but the next chapter as well - welcoming our son Cameron! Laura, whom I now affectionally refer to as my 'lifetographer', also took Cameron's newborn photos. We decided to do them in our home, which reflected the way Laura is able to 'tell the story' with her photos that has a certain realness to them. No major props,simple, clean and a true reflection of the love we have for our son and our family.

Laura is magical. The minute Ryan and I got engaged I KNEW I wanted Laura as our wedding photographer. I had seen her before work and fell in love with the way she captured not just the wedding but all the special moments that make up the most amazing day ever! Her work is emotional, personal and joyous. And she did not dissapoint on our wedding day! Laura & Donny made us feel natural, comfortable and loved throughout the entire planning process and wedding weekend. All of this shows in our wedding photos not just of us, but our guests too!! I don't know how she did it, but looking through our album I can feel the love and laughter our friends and family poured into us on our special day.

I cannot say enough great things about Laura and Donny! They take the most amazing pictures and truly make you feel so comfortable during the process!  My husband hates taking pictures and by the end of our engagement session he was comfortable and smiling in all of his pictures! Laura's pictures are so natural and truly captured the beauty of our special day! Our wedding pictures to this day make up most of our wall decor because it was too hard to pick just one picture! Every picture captured such a beautiful moment that we couldn't pick just one or two! From the bride: Laura and Donny Pedrino are magicians.  That is the only way I can describe their work with the camera.  Our photos are more beautiful than I ever thought possible (we look like movie stars!).  They are pros at capturing people - the true joy of the day came through in every photo!  They were an absolute dream to work with.  The most important thing when picking out wedding vendors is feeling comfortable with them and confident about their services.  We didn't hesitate in hiring Laura and Donny because we instantly knew that we were in great hands.  I loved that they used their expertise in weddings to provide guidance into our day, but were really flexible about anything we specifically wanted to incorporate.  They were also extremely organized, which really helped make sure that we were on the same page and had the same expectations going into the day.  Laura and Donny were always there to capture the moment, but never in the way.  Any time a guest asked to get a photo, they happily obliged (which is not always the case with wedding photographers!).  They also scoped out the coolest places to take photos.  For our first look, they found a really beautiful space in our hotel which I didn't even know existed!  Our portraits at our venue were also taken in unique and beautiful locations.  We are so happy with all of the photos that we took with Laura and Donny - our engagement session, our wedding, and our photobooth!  Our friends and family love them too!  The wedding day goes by very quickly, and at the end of it all, your photos capture the memories.  We couldn't be happier with our photos, or in working with Laura and Donny!

From the Groom: 

Plain and simple – Laura & Donny are the absolute best. Not only is Laura an incredible photographer with a keen eye; she and Donny are a blast to hang out with. The pictures for our ‘warmup’ engagement photo session were great and the pictures for our wedding were absolutely incredible! 

Long story short – Laura made us look good. Like… ‘really, really, ridiculously good looking’ good.  There are a handful of pictures where I literally had to do a double take when I was browsing through. Still, to this day I still struggle to comprehend how she captured us as this superfluously flawlessly attractive wife and groom in several pictures.  If there were 1 or 2 good pictures, I’d say… ‘oh ok she got lucky’.  But this clearly was not the case as evidenced by the multiple stunning shots of us, as well as the countless amazing pictures of our guests that were in attendance at the wedding.

Little background – I hate taking pictures... which happens to be something that gives my wife great joy.  Laura & Donny coached us through the process and not only made our shoots tolerable… they somehow tricked me into having fun (please don’t tell the wife this).  I was blown away by their fluid and innovative ability to pick and choose incredible spots to take pictures, their deliberate attention to detail, mastery of the nuances of lighting … and ability to coax a less than enthusiastic groom into enjoying himself during a photo shoot.

On wedding day Laura & Donny were beyond professional and most importantly – fun and enjoyable to be with. They were masterful in completing the exhaustive list of photos that we and the mother-in-laws had come up with.  At the reception, Laura blended seamlessly into the crowd and did a fantastic job of capturing the event and all of our guests.  It has been several months since the wedding, yet friends and family are still pinging me with Laura’s pictures on social media.  Donny ran the photo booth which was a huge hit with awesome props and social media capability.

Words cannot describe how happy we are with the pictures and we cannot fathom a better team to have worked so closely with for our wedding.

My husband and I love Laura Pedrino!! Laura was so great from the start of our engagement session to the day of our wedding, very easy going. She worked with our hectic schedules to photograph our engagement session in Oceano Dunes. Brandon hates photo, but Donny kept his attention and smiles by talking about our sandrail (which of course was in our photo shoot). We all laughed and enjoyed the whole session. It even started to rain and no one minded it. The day of our wedding was even better! Our wedding in Oceano Dunes wasn't the easiest, there were a lot of moving parts and nothing really traditional. It didn't seem to bother them at all, they were always there without missing a shot. They would move around us taking photos and we hardly noticed them. Once we received all of the photos, we realized that they got every single moment perfectly. We love their style, easiness to work with and their genuine kindness. They are honestly the best!
